The New Workforce Development Center is a higher education facility designed to be a modern showpiece for the innovative workforce training programs at the Del Mar College West Campus.
The 48,500 square foot new construction provides administrative offices, classrooms, and labs focused on technical training for both Del Mar College students and several industry partners. The program also includes several state-of-the-art labs for various programs including welding, millwright, transportation simulation, and process technology. A 1,000 square foot control room is also designed to provide simulation and training for real-world conditions encountered in the industrial facilities located along the Port of Corpus Christi.
