PROJECT MANAGER

A Project Manager is responsible for a broad range of activities including initial site investigation, design coordination and oversight, the delivery of quality construction documents, and construction administration activities. They are the team leader for concurrent projects in various stages of design and construction and are responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of technical personnel and coordinating the work of project consultants.
Responsibilities

Organize Project Schedules and Delivery Process Milestones;

Lead Design Team with Development of Design and Procurement of Documents;

Direct and Instruct Inner-Office Technical Personnel with Specific Tasks;

Research Building Components, Systems, and Technologies for Incorporation;
-
Written and Oral Communications / Coordination with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors;

Coordinate the Services of Other Design Professionals and Sub-Consultants;
-
Resolve Constructability Conflicts and Secure Regulatory Approvals;
-
Assist with Project Bidding, Negotiate and Prepare Contracts for Construction;

Manage the Construction Administration Process through Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Directives, Proposal Requests, ASI’s, Site Meetings, and Construction Observation Reports.
Required Qualificatons
-
Must have a Professional Degree in Architecture, or Equivalent, From and Accredited University;

Must have 5-10 Years of Project Management Experience;

Must Demonstrate a High Level of Competency Regarding Building Technologies, Structures, Building Codes, Development of Construction Documents, and Construction Processes.

Must be Detail-Oriented;

Significant Construction Administration Experience;

Specification Writing Experience;

Exceptional Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills;

Ability to Work as Part of a Team and be Self-Motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Proficiency in 3D Modeling Software, Revit 2017 or Newer, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite;

Registered Architect is a Plus.
